When I got accepted to university, I thought I was destined to become a concept artist. The idea of creating digital artwork and getting paid for it seemed like the dream I wanted to pursue when I was nineteen. However, I realised that I was only not good enough for the industry, but I also had skills and interests—particularly technical ones—that wouldn't fully shine in a role as concept artist. Still, I enjoyed creating digital art and took courses in environment, character, and production design while at university. Even though it's not the career path I intend to follow, I found that I learned a lot in these courses that I can apply to other fields.
With that disclaimer (or excuse) out of the way, I'd still like to share some of my concept art works with you, as they are not just a part of my education but also integral to my skills and abilities today.
