THE BILL CARTER
ROBBERY
VR in this together!
It sounds easy... Break into the house of an old jazz musician, find his unreleased records and sell them highly overpriced But it’s not that simple. Who would expected that the retired Bill Carter could be such a paranoid grandpa?
In this cooperative VR game, one out of two players is intruding Bill Carters insanely secured house, while his accomplice is guiding him to the precious records. Only when they work together they can solve the puzzles and bypass the security system. In order to this communication is the key to being
a successful intruder duo. While the coordinating player can look through a bunch of documents including blueprints of the house, photographs, and secret FBI files, he has to figure out the best way for his intruding friend. The player who takes the role of the Intruder wears the VR headset and discovers the secrets of the Bill Carter House. Only when they combine their information and rely on each other they can be gone before the police arrive.

What I worked on
The Bill Carter Robbery was developed within a three weeks game jam in the my fourth semester of studying. In this my part was mostly related to developing the artstyle and designing the puzzles. On top of that I crafted most of the physical items for the coordinator.
Later I reopened the project and decided to spend some time on the shading to create a new Windows build, which was not limited by the hardware of the Samsung Gear VR.
