VR in this together!

The Bill Carter Robbery immerses players in a cooperative virtual reality experience where breaking into the home of a retired jazz musician proves to be anything but easy. Tasked with stealing Bill Carter's unreleased records, players face the unexpected challenges posed by Bill's unique and eccentric security measures.
In this two-player VR game, one player assumes the of the intruder, navigating Bill Carter's home equipped with VR gear. The other player, the coordinator, acts as the guide, providing crucial information to help circumvent Bill's peculiar defenses. Solving intricate puzzles and outsmarting makeshift security devices requires seamless teamwork and effective communication.
The coordinating player isn't just a passive observer; equipped with a collection of documents, including blueprints, photographs, and secret FBI files, they must strategize and direct their partner safely through the house. Success hinges on their ability to work together as the ultimate heist duo.
The Bill Carter Robbery was initially developed during a three-week game jam in my fourth semester of studies. My contributions centered on developing the art style and designing the puzzles, ensuring an engaging and visually cohesive experience. Additionally, I crafted most of the physical items available to the coordinating player, enhancing their interactive experience.
Later, I revisited the project to refine the shading and visual elements, aiming to improve the aesthetic quality of the game for Windows platforms.
